Balloon animals and a bounce house, the BIG slide, face painting, In-N-Out, Wetzel’s Pretzels, and Gordo’s tacos… what’s not to love about the High Point Fall Family Picnic? The HPA community came together for a beautiful afternoon on Veteran’s Day to play games, enjoy lunch, and spend time with fellow families.
Kids immediately made a break for the bounce house and inflatable slide, competed at hula hoop and limbo contests, and learned all about ants with the aptly-named Scav-ANT-ure Hunt. Our balloon artist, Harvey, was a huge hit as our campus became a zoo for balloon animals. Parents got in on the fun with soccer and basketball, and major cheering was heard as they were invited to try the potato sack race. A fierce contest ensued!
Thank you to our 6th Grade Girl Scout Troop for lending a hand with face painting, temporary tattoos, and crafts! Attendees also had the opportunity to make a card for a service member in honor of Veteran’s Day. Thank you to all who took part.
Joey Campanella and Kris Haines were spotted all over the event, greeting parents and celebrating the first few months of a fantastic year at High Point.
Thank you to our Picnic Chairs, Helen Lee and Marisa Rose, as well as their PAX Team – Tanya Potts, Sheryl Brown, Purvi Patel, and Kate Hossain! Thank you to Marisa and Andy Rose, In-N-Out, and Gordo’s Catering for our delicious lunch. Thank you to Kate and Sai Hossain for the wonderful Wetzel’s Pretzels, and a special shout-out to Kate for creating our incredible photo booth! Finally, thank you to our wonderful HPA families for the amazing turnout at this fun event!
We can’t wait to see everyone again next year.
