The High Point community joined Rise Against Hunger in its fight against hunger. On Friday, November 18th, students helped to package meals for children and adults who face hunger across the globe. We partnered with Rise Against Hunger to package 10,584 meals!
The packaging event took place in the music room, and the JH Service Club guided students from all grade levels in packaging the meals of rice and soy.
By participating in this important event, High Point helped Rise Against Hunger in its goal to consistently provide nutritious meals to 6 million people by 2025.
We surpassed our donation goal for this event, raising $4,840 for Rise Against Hunger! Way to go, High Point!
